In 1995, Far West Fibers acquired the Neighborhood Recycling
Center in Southeast Portland. What began as a small public recycling
depot quickly grew into a full-scale paper packing facility.
Our 18,000 square-foot warehouse on 2.5 acres is ideally
located close to Portland's downtown core for businesses and waste haulers.
We currently process up to 2,000 tons of recyclables per month.
In addition to buying and processing paper, we operate one
of Portland's oldest and best known public recycling depots. The depot
is open 7 days a week and is a convenient location to drop off household
