Established in 1985, Far West Fibers Sales & Marketing Division purchases approximately 6,000 tons per month of baled scrap paper from converting plants and other sources of baled, mill-ready material throughout the United States and Canada.  The paper is then sold to various paper mills in the United States or shipped to the export market.

Our knowledgeable and experienced sales and marketing staff works closely with our other recycling operations to create a totally integrated recycling system and locate the best markets for our recyclables.

We also operate bale and roll stock  transloading facilities at our Portland, Hillsboro and Southeast Portland plants.  All facilities have easy access to the Port of Portland.
